Assembly Line, 1946 Cadillac

Assembly Line, 1957 Cadillac

Assembly LIne, 1952 Chevy

Assembly Line, 1955 Chevy - I had a '55 Chevy in HS.

Assembly Line, 1956 Chevy. Never had a '56 Chevy.

Assembly Line, 1957 Chevy. My opinion is the '57 Chevy is the greatest car ever made. There is nothing like being behind the wheel of one. Looks to be a 4 barrel carb, high performance.

Assembly Line, 1953 Corvette. These were all 6 cylinder. They sold for about $2500. Oh to have one today.

These 10 '53 Corvettes would be worth over one million bucks today. Those line workers could never have imagined that.

Chevy Nomad Wagon 1955. These are priceless today simply because they made few of them.

Assembly Line 1956 Chevys. Funny looking coloring.

They called this a "Concepts Car" because it wasn't produced yet.

This was the first to roll off the line. I'm sure it's in a museum.  Notice the wheels were different than the Concepts Car.

This "Concepts Car" was never produced. A cross between a Corvette, Station Wagon, and Nomad. Hmm, it does have a license plate...?

Neat Chevy Showroom, it says Tacoma.

Used Car Lot in the 50's.  Somewhere in the North, snow on the ground.

Corvair 1961 Line. Our classmate Sissy Spears had one.

Dodge line 1960. Have to admit that those years of Dodge were ugly cars.

From the 40's, a great assortment of period cars here.

Ford 1920s Assembly Line. When Henry Ford used his assembly line, it revolutionized the industry.

Ford 1946 line. The '46 was the first auto built after the war, mostly a '41.

Ford Line, it says 1920 but I think it's later.

Nice overhead view of the 1946 Fords.

Early use of the "Safety" idea in sales of the '56 Ford.

This touted the power of a Ford "T-Bird" engine. I believe they went from a 292 cube to a 312 cube.

Assembly line of 1949 Fords. This was a major design change for Ford, from the "Buggy" suspension and boxy look of '48.
